Kelly Clarkson, an American performer, songwriter, and actress who was crowned the American Idol competition in its debut season, and became America's Sweetheart. Her win was not only an enormous success however, it also secured her a recording contract for several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. Since then, she has released many recordings from her studio. Three albums have topped the US Billboard 200 charts while the others were only one or two inches way away. Her name is among American Idol's most successful performers. After achieving success, she tried out different themes and music styles often singing with her partner in line with her personal feelings. For her uniqueness and vocal prowess, she received praise from the public as well as various accolades. The Grammy Award is her most highly regarded prize. Alongside her career in music, she has also appeared in movies and television shows. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is her children's book. Additionally, she has been engaged in charitable activities and different organizations.
