Caterina Scorsone is an American-Canadian actress. Caterina gained fame after portraying the role of Dr. Amelia Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy. The actress also appeared as a character in Private Practice. Francesca Scorsone, her sister's full name, is Francesca. When she first started her career, Ms. Scorsone had been an amateur child actor in the Mr. Dressup television program. Her talent was showcased as Michelle Parker, a leading role in the smash hit Power Play. Her other career-making project, Missing in which she played the role of Jess Mastriani. In 2009 she expressed her acting skills by playing the role of Alice in a short film titled Alice. She then appeared in the TV show Grey's Anatomy. She was Amelia Shepherd in this series. The brilliant actress started in a supporting role, and then moved to the lead actress due to her outstanding performance. The talented lady has done numerous successful projects over the course of her professional career. In 1996 she debuted in the TV series Goosebumps. She also made her debut in acting with the 1998 film, All I Want to Do.
